Autoimmune Disease
Jake Ames, MD, HMD
I have been specializing in treating patients with autoimmune diseases since 1994. I treat patients with Lupus, Sjögren’s syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, Wegener's granulomatosis, Graves’ disease, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, psoriasis, etc.
Most people with an autoimmune disease have a genetic predisposition in having their disease. However, the genes to get their autoimmune disease can be “turned off’ so they stay dormant.
I typically find infectious organisms, such as Mycoplasma, Borrelia (the causative agent of Lyme disease) and other organisms triggering and causing autoimmune diseases. Other causes can be mercury, gluten, and chemical poisons.
I am an expert in nutrition, detoxification, treating allergies, and I have had patients do many chelation’s, and hours in the FAR-IR sauna.
